Cusina Natural Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid

In our household, the hubby usually holds the ladle, and I?
I hold the sponge.
We enjoy warm meals my hubby cooks and I find serendipity in washing dishes. We share our household choires with fervor and as mundane as it is, washing the plates removes my stress, it's an instant booster after an hour or two in front of the screen designing. It brings me back my peace (if you would call mixed formulas in your head chaos) and did I mention I sometimes sway my hips a little livelier to the music while I'm at it.
I hate washing with laundry bar soap; it leaves white marks and even further dries my dry hands. That is why I always try new dish washing products out there, in a tub, squeeze bottle; diluted, paste or liquid.
Then one fine day, I stumble upon Cusina when my family and I planned to enjoy an afternoon at the ExpoMom Bazaar in Glorietta.

Here's a little about CusinaHomes:
...One of the brand’s founders, a new parent, was looking for a dishwashing soap that’s safe and effective for his new family but soon realized that most of the local brands being sold smelled of harsh chemical and artificial scents. In fact, most of them look like they came straight from the laboratory. Is this all there is to choose from? It was this thought that spawned Cusina™ Natural Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid.
After partnering with chemists and perfumers from Spain, where a lot of the world’s fruit extracted fragrances are created, and thoughtful research and development for almost 3 years, Cusina™ was born— the first locally produced dishwashing liquid that rids of bacteria naturally and pampers the nose with real fruit and plant extracts that smells like the garden, not the lab.
Ingredients includes:
  • NATURAL ANTIBAC armed with the notion that nature has long ago provided us with wonderful ingredients that can safely clean and disinfect, Cusina™ doesn’t believe in the use of triclosan, unlike other antibacterial cleansers. Cusina™ instead harnesses the power of real tea tree and eucalyptus oil extracts, essential oils that are innately antimicrobial, antiseptic and antifungal, to help fight bacteria the safe and natural way.
  • SCENTS FROM REAL FRUITS & PLANTS whoever decided that dishwashing liquids should only come in the usual “Laboratory Lemon” scent is really missing out. Taking cue from the great variety of fruits and plants that Mother Nature herself has to offer, we’ve come up with fragrance blends that excitingly unique as they are refreshing: Lemongrass Citrus, Ginger Yuzu Peel, and Grapefruit Lemon Zest. Carefully sourced with real fruit and plant extracts, Cusina™ scents capture the very best from nature to your kitchen sink.
Cusina Dishwashing Liquid comes in three different scents:
cusina
Ginger Yuzu Peel
Citrusy, slightly sweet, with floral notes from Japanese yuzu fruit and a spicy kick from ginger makes this delicate and soothing scent combo suited for the more discerned.
Lemongrass Citrus
In a whiff reveals a scent of lemont, but like discovering your new favorite song, comes gushing in the stimulating mid notes of stress-relieving lemongrass and a hint of minty-fresh citrus.
Grapefruit Lemon Zest
Has uplifting topnotes of fresh pink grapefruit with a clean, crisp, citrusy lemon zest finish
Thank you so much Mommy Mundo for introducing this to me.
And now, I do the dishes even better, with Cusina Natural Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid.

INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS TO DRIVE EXPANSION IN LOCAL SHORES

Global air conditioning, appliance giant Tosot enters Philippine market
MANILA – Amidst the phenomenal growth in the Philippines’ retail sector, a brand of a global leader in air conditioning systems and appliances is set to bring to the country its line of innovative products.
Tosot, a premium brand of Gree, the biggest manufacturer of air conditioners in the world, was officially launched this October.
Tosot Philippines also held a grand launch, where dignitaries and executives of Gree came in full force to support the brand expansion in Southeast Asia.
Tosot Philippines General Manager Tom Balete said the brand intends to compete in the segment of the market which demand innovative and premium solutions for air conditioners, something Tosot successfully did in three continents worldwide.
The move, Balete said, is in response to growing consumer sentiment that prefers quality air conditioner brands, instead of the usual cheap but low quality products that flood appliance centers all over the land.
“We have been observing the market for years now. We noticed that in the past couple of years, many families and businesses have started to upgrade their air conditioning systems to something that goes beyond cooling their rooms. They want efficiency and quiet that cheaper products don’t have,” he said.
He explained that the penchant of consumers to upgrade their appliances could be a direct result of the growth in the country’s retail sector, marked by the increase in the number of middle class families, which allowed premium brands worldwide to enter the Philippines.
In fact, Balete said that in the Southeast Asian region, where the Philippines is a key member, analysts are predicting that the middle class is expected to triple from 525 million in 2009 to 1.74 billion in 2020.
In the Philippines, economists also expect retail to grow its contribution to the country’s gross domestic product to 20 percent in 10 years, which is up by 7 percent from last year’s 13 percent.
The growth should push demand for quality products, instead of price, Balete said.
“Tosot’s entry to the Philippines couldn’t come at a better time. We want to be that alternative premium brand of air conditioners and we will compete in terms of providing really technologically advanced products that will set the bar for air conditioners, especially in terms of energy consumption and area acoustics,” he said.
He said Tosot Philippines will also place priority on products that are ecologically friendly. “Our work primarily focuses on making lives more comfortable at no expense to nature. For every product we create, we think about how it will impact the environment.”
Tosot prides itself of using R-32 & R-410A in its air-conditioning units. These special refrigerants do not contribute to ozone depletion, and allow for lower power consumption and less impact on global warming. Tosot also uses the inverter air-conditioning system that consumes less electricity compared to conventional air-conditioning units. This means less energy, reduced production costs, and an environment-friendly business.
As a premium brand, Tosot’s product lines are made using the best technology available today. The company strives to create a sophisticated and comfortable lifestyle where its clients are.
“The people behind Tosot have worked hard-in-hand over a decade to bring the most innovative appliances possible in order to foster a lifestyle that not only sees to you and your family’s comfort and convenience but also the health and well-being of the environment,”Balete said.
Tosot has eight production bases strategically located worldwide: Brazil, Pakistan, Vietnam, and cities in China that include Zhuhai, Chongqing, Hefei, Zhengzhou, and Wuhan. Its company has an astounding annual production capacity of 34 million units of residential air-conditioners and 4 million units of commercial air-conditioners.
Apart from the Philippines, Tosot is distributed globally in Italy, Canada, Hongkong, Iraq, Russia, Ukraine, and China.
Partners in comfort and well-being
Tosot has also partnered with various institutions to effectively improve the quality of life that includes comfort and well-being, and to bring not only comfort but a great deal of satisfaction.
This includes Don Bosco Technical Institute where Tosot Philippines gets student-trainees for a five-month training program. In turn, Tosot Philippines provides scholarships to these trainees as part of their corporate social responsibility.
Tosot Philippines also works with TUV Rheiland Philippines in ensuring that all Tosot products comply with the Philippine National Standard.
Apart from its showroom, Tosot Philippines has also partnered with and Lazada.com.ph in promoting and selling of Tosot products online.

Grey Away: Anti-Grey Hair Treatment

Last Thursday, we were invited for a brunch here at the Dillingers Steak and Brew Restaurant located at Greenbelt 3. We were treated for a very relaxing dim-lit buffet as they introduced us to the latest in haircare technology,
Grey Away
During the event, the host introduced us to the people behind the Grey Away Anti-Grey Treatment.
It is the first and the latest anti-grey treatment not just in the Philippines but in Asia as well. Using Melitane - a polypeptide that stimulates melanin production, reversing the grey hair process and EMortal Pep - a 4-amino acid polypeptide that promotes hair growth, Grey Away is designed for people with visible greying hair. The host also opened the floor for questionings and my doubts about the products are very well answered.
  • Is it safe for lactating and pregnant women? - It is not advisable for mothers to use Regroe and Grey Away.
  • Is it okay to use this for colored hair? - Yes. The product's potency is not dependent on the applied hair color since it will work its way inside the scalp where it will do its magic.
  • Hair fall and grey hair, which product to use first? Grey Away and/or Regroe? - It is okay to use alongside Regroe. But, since Grey Away could also make the hair thicker, if you both have hair fall and greying hair, it is advisable to use Grey Away.
  • How about Blondes? - Whatever your natural hair color is, be it red, chestnut brown or blonde, you could safely use Grey Away since this is not a colorant. Grey Away brings back the natural color of hair strands and prevents it from turning grey without the risk of the harmful effects of colorants.

More depth about Grey Away, here.
How to use Grey Away? Here.
We learned a lot on how this latest development on hair care can give you a more beautiful, confident you with your naturally youthful looking hair. I will be sharing this product to my dad and will take note on his use. So stay tuned!
We ended up the program in a sweet note. Thank you so much Maam Lariza and Sir Mike for this opportunity.
