Last Monday at Market! Market! Activity Center, Gardenia finally held its last leg of its inter-college cooking competition wherein students are challenged to think out of the box and create recipes for sandwiches that will offer new, innovative and exciting ways of serving our favorite breakfast/merienda food, Gardenia.
The competition did bigger than the previous years since it was with 100 teams from 20 colleges and universities from Luzon which includes Tarlac State University, Centro Escolar University-Malolos, Angeles Univesrity foundation, De La Salle University- Dasmarinas, Cavite State University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the East, University of Manila, St. Scholastica's college, Adamson University, National University, La Consolacion College, Philippines Women's University, St. Paul's College-Manila and University of the Cordilleras.

Aside from the competition, Gardenia open up the event to the public. At Market Market's Entrance before Fiesta Market positioned a Gardenia Tasty Truck wherein people could request their favorite Gardenia bread for free!
