#OneWashWonder with OLAY SKIN WHITENING BAR

It’s been a week since I received this beautiful gift from the Bellas behind ilovebdj.com (kaway kaway mga Bellas, thank you for being oh-so-generous!) and I must say, my first impression lasts up to this very moment.

The Unboxing

The gift I received comes in a small sturdy pink box. Inside was a welcome card, an introduction to Olay Skin Whitening Bar and the box of Olay – all feminine, in its pink glory with a hint of aromatic fragrant rose.

The Beauty Bar

The Olay Skin Whitening Bar was preferred by 8 out of 10 women when it comes to whitening their skin from first use. It was also tested on a sliced apple. 15 minutes of applying soap, Olay kept the flesh from darkening while other leading drugstore brand containing Kojic Acid gone dark right away.
Olay skin whitening bar is formulated with key ingredients from its Olay natural white rich all in one fairness day cream and has rose extract made from Egyptian Rosa Canina flower petals.

The First Wash

Here are my before and after photos:
I use the same lighting and setting to keep authenticity.

I, despite of millions things-to-do (that I slowly but steadily ticked off, thanks to my Belle de Jour Power Planner) wants to make beautiful things happen by celebrating my unique beauty, including my kilays with puyo.

Today, I declared myself beautiful. I'm uniquely beautiful in my own self and I want to celebrate it and be #BellaBeautiful! Live life to the fullest with the all-new Olay Skin Whitening Bar! I heard it's best paired with Olay Natural White Rich all in one fairness day cream.

Meet the Toddler

Clyde, when still was toothless will point to the tin of Queensland, will look me in the eyes and will smile his toothless innocent smile. He wants butter, he licks butter off the spoon, he papak the butter off the can.
I call the hubby “Honey” for two years and a decade now, and Clyde loves Honey, too! Honey as bread spread, as sweetener on his refreshment, his fruits, his hands, and honey as his homemade cough/sore throat remedy.
He is serious and dedicated in studying his shapes, and he calls his ovals ellipse, and not oblong.
He eats his broccoli (thank goodness!), his carrots, bell pepper, black olives (hurray!) and everything in the Bahay Kubo song except luya, and his potatoes – frenched, wedged, mojoed, mashed, crisped!

Gold Stack Potato Chips was our first time to bump into a crispy cut that is buttered and (in my head, soaked in the goodness that is) honeyed. Aside from balance of sweet and salty, this addicting chip is even more lovable because its 0% Trans fat0% cholesterol, plus, no preservative! A Gold Stack crispy potato chip has sweet butter aroma and a touch of honey goodness that gives off a textured buttery sweet sensation, and that sensation will keep your mouth watering for more.
Mom once asked Clyde about the most probable shape of a mountain. What’s your answer? Comment down below before reading more!

Solane LPG achieves 13 million hours without injury

Isla Group of Companies, the mother company of leading LPG brand Solane, announced it has reached 13 million man hours without lost time injury, a significant milestone in its goal towards making an incident and injury-free company. This outstanding achievement reiterated the company’s commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and the strict compliance of all employees, haulers and contractors to safety policies and procedures in all aspects of the business.

Solane employees and contractors celebrate 13 million man hours without lost time injury.
Isla Group of Companies, which includes Isla Petroleum & Gas (IPG), Isla LPG Corp. (ILC), and Isla Gas Terminal, Inc. (IGTI), averages one million man hours every year. During this period, there has been no record of major injury or fatality in the workplace, which would have resulted in the loss of productive work time.
IPG chief executive officer Shoichi Watanabe congratulated the employees for “taking no shortcuts to safety and for every step taken towards this great milestone.” He also expressed his gratitude to them for fully understanding and performing their duties.
Isla Group will continue on the road to achieving 14 million man hours without lost time injury next year by giving prime importance to HSE standards and delivering safe and reliable LPG products and services. The end goal is not just to celebrate a milestone, but to create a worry-free and safe workplace for everyone, may it be in the offices, plants sites, road transport, and with the distributor network and business partners.
“I am very grateful to everyone at IPG Group. With our high standards and steadfastness to do what is right, we can sustain a sterling HSE performance. I look forward to achieving many more HSE milestones – for our company and for our families,” said Isla LPG Corp. chief executive officer Ruben Domingo.

NBA, FIBA AND NBLTO HOST FIRST BASKETBALL WITHOUT BORDERSCAMP IN AUSTRALIA

The National Basketball Association (NBA), the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL) today announced that Basketball without Borders (BWB) Asia will be held June 23-26 at Dandenong Basketball Stadium in Melbourne, marking the first time that the NBA and FIBA’s global basketball development and community outreach program will be held in Australia. BWBwill celebrate its 15th anniversary this summer.

BWB Asia will bring together the top male players born in 1999 from around the Asia-Pacific region to learn directly from NBA and FIBA players, legends and coaches and to compete against the best young players from the region.  BWB Asia will also include a girls camp for the top female players in Victoria and a Jr. NBA camp for local youth.

“We are pleased to partner with FIBA and the NBL to bring the first Basketball without Borders camp to Australia,” said NBA Asia Managing Director Scott Levy. “The league has seen a surge of Australian talent in recent years, and we look forward to supporting the next generation by giving them a platform to showcase their skills alongside their peers from throughout the region.”

“This historic, first-ever NBA and FIBA Basketball without Borders Asia Camp in Australia presents an incomparable opportunity for players from many countries throughout Asia and Oceania,” said Camp Director and President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches (WABC) Patrick Hunt.  “The players and coaches will work with the campers to enhance their skills, shape their character, and teach values that lead to success in life and our wonderful, global game.”

“Victorians love their basketball, and we’ve produced some of the world’s great stars,” said Victorian Government for Sport, Tourism and Major Events John Eren MP.  “Australian NBA and national team players made their names in our local associations, and this is another great chance to uncover another star of the game.  But it’s not just about identifying talent.  Basketball without Borders is a great chance to teach our kids important values and lessons that will stay with them for life.”

“This camp will showcase the best young basketball talent Australasia has to offer in front of some of the world’s best players and coaches from the NBA, and FIBA, along with a very impressive selection of our own NBL coaches and players, past and present, many of whom played in the NBAthemselves,” said NBL General Manager Jeremy Loeliger.  “It is a great opportunity to place Australian basketball and the NBL on the map internationally as the premier basketball destination in Australasia, and we are excited to see this event come to fruition thanks to the support of the NBA, FIBA, the Victorian Government, Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia.”

In addition to working with the campers on the court, NBA, FIBA and NBL players and coaches will lead extensive community outreach events through NBA Cares that will leave a lasting legacy in Melbourne and Geelong.  These social responsibility efforts will focus on youth basketball development and teaching the values of the game on and off the court.  Activities will include a Jr. NBA youth basketball clinic, an NBA Cares court dedication, a Jr. NBA wheelchair basketball exhibition game and clinic and life skills sessions stressing the importance of leadership, character and communication.

Nike, a BWB global partner since 2002, will outfit the campers and coaches with Nike apparel and footwear.

Since 2001, BWB has reached more than 2,500 participants from 130 countries and territories, with 37 campers drafted into the NBA.  Twenty-one former BWB campers were on opening-night rosters for the 2015-16 NBA season.

The first-ever Basketball without Borders camp took place in Europe in July 2001.  Vlade Divac (Serbia) and Toni Kukoc (Croatia), together with former teammates from the Yugoslav national team, reunited to work with 50 children from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia and Montenegro at La Ghirada in Treviso, Italy.  Since then, the NBA and FIBA have staged 45 BWB camps in 26 cities across 22 countries on five continents.  More than 210 current and former NBA, WNBA and FIBA players have joined nearly 160 NBA team personnel from all 30 NBA teams to support BWB across the world.

The full BWB 2016 summer schedule will be announced in the coming months.  Campers and coaches will be announced prior to each camp.
