Blood Compact Shrine

The Blood Compact Shrine is also known as the Sandugo Shrine. This is the first friendship treaty between the Filipinos and Spaniards in the year 1565 wherein Rajah Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi made a cut in their wrist and drank the drawn blood that was mixed together between the two leaders.
In Baclayon is where the oldest stone church in the Philippines could be found. Unfortunately, its been destroyed during the last major earthquake in Bohol and is now on going retrofitting and restoration.
